This Terms of Use document applies to NestEgg — listed on Google Play and the App Store as “NestEgg: FIRE Calculator”, Android package com.kalden.firepath — published by Calvin Ficklin, the developer named on the app’s Google Play and App Store listings, under the Runebyte brand at runebyte.app. Contact: admin@runebyte.app. NestEgg was previously published under the name “FIRE Path”.
These terms govern your use of the NestEgg mobile app. By using the app you agree to them. On iOS, purchases are additionally governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Not financial advice
NestEgg is an educational planning and calculation tool. It is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and we are not a licensed financial adviser or broker. Every figure the app shows is a projection produced from assumptions you supply — expected returns, inflation, spending, withdrawal rates, tax constants — and real outcomes will differ. Investment returns are not guaranteed and you can lose money. Consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions. You are solely responsible for decisions you make using the app.
Your account
You may use the planner without an account. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time from Settings in the app.
Purchases and subscriptions
NestEgg Pro is sold as a monthly auto-renewing subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically for the then-current price each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings — deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies, not by us.
Acceptable use
Don't reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app, use it unlawfully, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' data.
Availability and changes
We may add, change, or remove features, and we may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any financial loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the app or its projections.

Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
